Transparency and safe cooperation

Why do international providers request identity details?

Depending on the jurisdiction and service, providers must check identity, beneficial ownership and, where relevant, the source of funds. These checks help prevent money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions violations.

What standards apply at BEP?

Since 17 October 2026, BEP has a written policy setting minimum standards for partner checks, risk based identity information, sanctions, politically exposed persons and handling concerns. Checks and decisions are case specific and remain under human responsibility.

Who reviews my documents and application?

For residence and citizenship services, BEP introduces you to the relevant specialist. The specialist conducts its customer checks and assesses the application. Any statutory duties applying to BEP remain in place. An introduction is not a guarantee of approval.

Does BEP collect investment funds or application fees?

BEP does not receive client funds for property purchases, investments, government contributions or application fees. Payments go directly to the responsible recipient named in the contract. Send sensitive identity and financial records only through the agreed secure channel.

What happens if information is unclear?

Conflicting information or a possible sanctions concern puts the case on hold while it is clarified. Political exposure alone does not mean exclusion, but may require additional checks. Contact partners@beyondeuropeproperty.com with questions.
